Whether you brand your clothing with embroidery or screenprinting you need to take into consideration the fabric.  Embroidery can be sewn onto any fabric but screenprinting is best suited to cotton.  The best way, other than embroidery, to print onto polyester is sublimation.  This is done prior to making up the polo shirt and only onto plain white polyester.  Football jersey’s are all sublimated now and the patterns and colours are magnificent.
